Thanks to all of you who came out for our now it's winter concert. As if on cue the snow began flying. Oh yes, and the wind began blowing. Once again it was a warm environment to share with fellow enthusiasts.

Welcome Beginners and Returning Members
We are wrapping up this year with our final concert to be performed Sunday May 29, 2016 at the UPEI Steele Recital Hall.

It's never too late to make music!
We held our annual fall/winter concert at the Steele Recital Hall on Sunday December 6 at 2:30 pm. Allie and Rowan are both enthusiastic about all of the perfomances presented to the audience.
There is much that goes on behind the scenes to organize a Community Concert Band. First and foremost we wish to offer Big Thanks to Allie and Rowan for their years of dedication. I'm sure we all agree that it has been a wonderful experience so far!
This is your second chance to learn a musical instrument or to play in a community band!

On behalf of the Second Chances Community Band Society of Nova Scotia, I would like to invite you and any of your musical colleagues to take part in our first Halifax Community Band Festival during the weekend of May 23rd- 25th, 2014 at St. Mary’s University.
UPEI Wind SymphonyBrandon Kelly is guest soloist
Our November 6th concert is with the students from the Queen Charlotte Intermediate School band program and is a concert in recognition of National Band Week.
It will feature the Queen Charlotte Grade Seven, Eight and Nine Bands.
The performance starts at 7:00 PM and we will be on around 8:00PM to play Crystal Moon, Cathedral Grove and Phantom of the Opera.
